Fikom Untar on UAS

This is the time of all the Fikom Untar’s students facing UAS. Started from June,6^th until June,18^th all the students do the exams. To face the exams there’re many preparations, self preparation, subject preparation, and technical preparation like KSM, pen,ect. These are simple tips to face UAS :

1.    Prepare your self to face the exam and study

2.    Have a quality rest

3.    Don’t forget to have breakfast or lunch before the exam

4.    Don/’t forget to bring KSM

5.    Come on time!

6.    Do the exam with focus

7.    Read all the question carefully

Hope all the students can do this exam correctly and get the best mark! 

Fikom Untar sign MOA with USM

Friday (23/5/14) Fikom Untar went to Penang, Malaysia to joined to IMPACT event which is held by USM Malaysia. On the other purpose to occupied this invitation, Fikom Untar came to USM also for sign MoA(Memorandum of Agreement)  to build a cooperation between Untar and USM Malaysia.

This MOA was signed by Vice Chancellor USM, Prof. Dato' Omar Osman  and from Untar was signed by Prof. Ir. Roesdiman Soegiarso, M.Sc. Ph.D, and from FIKOM UNTAR was signed by Dr. Eko Harry Susanto.

By this moment, hope USM and Untar have a better cooperation and all the lectures of fikom untar can choose USM if they wanna continue to S3.

I-FOCUS goes to Jogja

Get the best moment is an important principal in photography’s world. Because of that thing, I-Focus Untar chose Vesak day become a big moment to hunt photos on May, 13-17^th. I-Focus chose the best spot for this moment, it’s Borobudur temple.

I-Focus groups all consist of 14 members and 17 Fikom’s Untar students went to Jogja by train . They went to Parantritis and Gumuk Pasir. At night is the celebration of this big photography hunt event, they captured 1000 lampions at Borobudur temple. They also had bbq activity at night.

Hope by this big hunt not only skill of photography being up, but also can make all I-focus members become closer.

The New President of I-Focus

As another position, the president position of I-Focus also have their time limit. The period of 2013/2014, Steven Andreas Anthony  was over and tis is the time to choose a new president. On Thursday, the president chose by voting from all the I-focus members. The result of this voting, Michael Jordan was the winner. And he’s going to be I-Focus president period 2014/2015.

Michael Jordan prepared some programs to make I-Focus become an active organization and be better than last period. One of his program is organize a photography contest. The new president also hope all the members can work together in his period.

“keep work together in I-Focus, keep learn, without all the members I can’t build this I-focus become better than before.”

Friday-Sunday (May '14, 23-15), Fikom Untar's group, Mr.Eko and Mr.Wid with lectures and students came to Universiti Sains Malaysia(USM) to joined to IMPACT event. In IMPACT event,
Prof. Ir. Roesdiman Soegiarso, M.Sc. Ph.D, and Dr. Eko Harry Susanto signed MoA(Momerandum of Agreement) with  USM. But, Fikom Untar not only joined to the seminar, Fikom Untar also opened booth to promoted Fikom Untar to all comers.

Fikom Untar's booth gave all the informations about Fikom Untar. In the same booth, also showed all books of Dr. Eko Harry Susanto. Every comers also could give message by sticky notes and put it on the whiteboard.

Hope Fikom Untar's booth at this USM could promote FIKOM to the international world!

Zivanna Letisha : Beauty in Public Speaking

Being beauty is a dream of all women and Zivanna Letisha is like a representation of that dreams. This woman was born 25 years ago and she looks so elegant when she came to FIKOM UNTAR on  past may,20. She's so tall and slim with her black dress. She ever got a Puteri Indonesia''s crown and joined to Miss Universe on 2009.

She learned so many things from being Puteri Indonesia and joined to Miss Universe 2009. She poured it into a book and the title is " Buku Pintar Cewek Juara" . This's her first book and in front of Fikom Untar's students, she told what she wrote in that book.

The content of that book is to motivate all the Indonesian women to get what they want in their own area. Because, women shouldn't join to any beauty contest for being a winner, " Be your self in your own ability, be princess on your own" she said.
